Jane Brace
Trained as a journalist and is a former BBC-TV publicist now specialising in music publicity for independent artists. For the past 15 years she has been a self-employed journalist / publicist, focusing on arts and music publicity, TV publicity for Discovery and Meridian and prime time drama for BBC 1, including co-productions with the Canadian Broadcasting Commission.
Among a busy roster of artists, she is currently publicity manager for the acclaimed acoustic band Show of Hands, winners of Best Duo and Best Original Song at the 2010 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards - a band that has achieved a triple Royal Albert Hall sell out.
With a wealth of contacts amassed during a widespread PR career, Jane can carry out promotional campaigns with all media sectors, at local, regional and national level - print media, broadcast media, student media, specialist music media and online outlets - whether you want to raise awareness of a new CD release or boost ticket sales for a UK tour.
